Biography
2011: As a first year at CSB, Schmitt played in nine games, with one shot.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Apollo High School, Schmitt was coached by Ganard Orionzi. She participated in soccer (four years), dance (two years) and track and field (one year) during her athletic career at Apollo. She was two-time all-conference honorable mention and all-area in soccer. As well as being named a scholar athlete, Schmitt was a captain for her soccer team.
Personal: Schmitt is the daughter of Sue and Vern Schmitt of St. Cloud, MN. Her sisters attended CSB. She enjoys music, outdoor activities and spending time with friends. She is majoring in biology with a minor in accounting.
What is your proudest moment of your career?
“Going to state my sophomore year.”
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
“I like the competitive aspect of it and how close you become with your team. I can’t imagine my life without soccer.”
