High School: Peterson is a 2024 graduate of Chisago Lakes High School, where she participated in lacrosse for six seasons. In lacrosse she was a five-time letter winner (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), four-time Academic All-Conference(2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), three-time All-Conference (2021, 2022, 2023), and one-time All-Section (2024). She played her club lacrosse for Pipeline and True Minnesota.

Personal: Peterson is the daughter of Curt and Jenny Peterson and has three siblings, Kaylee, Kenadee, and Keegan. She is planning on majoring in Nursing. Her proudest lacrosse moment was leading her team to many "firsts" like first conference championship, first section win, and first undefeated season. Her hobbies include lacrosse.
