College of Saint Benedict

2023-24: Nelson scored her first college goal in a 15-7 loss at UW-LaCrosse and also started in and played in 14 games. She had 22 goals and 7 assists. She was 6th on the team with 47 shots. Nelson also recorded 1 game-winning goal, 28 ground balls, 19 caused turnovers, and 39 draw controls. She had 8 multigoal games, 9 multipoint games, and 4 hat tricks. 

High School: Nelson is a 2023 graduate from Stillwater Area High School. Throughout her high school career, Nelson participated in Lacrosse for five years, soccer for two years, and alpine skiing for one year. She was awarded the MVP award and participated in box lacrosse, lacrosse, and soccer clubs. Her proudest moment is lettering in 8th grade. She enjoys the faster pace of college sports, the level and being apart of the team. 

Personal: Emma is planning on majoring in Global Business Leadership. She is from Stillwater with her parents Steve and Marlene Nelson. She enjoys fashion, photography, and being outdoors.
