College of Saint Benedict

2022-23: Steinke played and started in 14 games. She ended the season with a total of 27 goals for third on the team, seven assists for fifth on the team, 14 caused turnovers, 33 groundballs for second on the team, and 31 draw controls. Steinke leads the team with 90 shots and had one game winning goal.

High School: Steinke is a 2022 graduate of Armstrong High School where she participated in varsity lacrosse for four years and varsity swimming for six years.She also played Team Minnesota Club lacrosse and True Minnesota Club Lacrosse. She earned numerous awards including All-Conference, first team All-Section, and team captain in lacrosse, and All-Conference and state participant and 2-time Conference champion in swimming. The proudest moment of her career was beating a New York team in triple overtime.
 
Personal: Ella is the daughter of Amy and Kenneth Steinke. She is pursuing a major in Biology, and in her free time, she enjoys knitting, swimming, and going out on the lake. Ella is excited to build new friendships with her teammates.
