High School: Sarah graduated from Wabasso High School in 2021 and is part of a long line of family members that have attended CSB/SJU. In high school, Sarah participated in softball for six years, basketball for five years and volleyball and cross country for two years. She earned all-conference basketball honors her sophomore through senior seasons, and all-area first team accolades in 2021. In softball she earned all-conference honors for four years, and was named to the all-state first team in 2021. In cross country she earned all-conference in 2018 and 2020.

Personal: Sarah’s parents are Mary and Thomas Franta and she has three siblings. In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing the piano, wakeboarding, running, working out and cooking. Sarah is a biology major at CSB/SJU.
