2019-20: Did not see varsity playing time as a first year.

High School: Larsen is a 2019 graduate of Castle View High School in Castle Rock, Colo. There she played four years of varsity basketball, competed in track and field for two years and soccer for one. She also participated in club basketball for five years. She earned academic honors all four years, was the Sabercat Award winner in 2019 and was a Continental League All-Star (2017-18, 2018-19). The proudest moment of her career was having a “career ending injury” before her senior year, but battling through it and being able to come back five months later to play that year and now coming to play at St. Ben’s.

Personal: Makenna is the daughter of Paco and Cathy Larsen and she has one sibling, Kade. Her hobbies are basketball, paddle boarding, watching old movies and hanging out with family and friends. She plans to major in biology. It has been a goal of hers since she was little to play at the collegiate level, so she looks forward to do the best she can on the court and in the classroom.
