Career: Played in 57 games in her career for both CSB and MSU Moorhead... accumulated 1189 minutes on the court... recorded 41 assists, 24 steals, and 35 blocks... pulled down 198 total rebounds, averaging 3.5 rpg; including a career-high 11 against UW Superior on Nov. 23, 2021... scored 319 points, averaging 5.6 ppg; including a career-high 14 points against Macalester on Dec. 11, 2021... 6 double-digit scoring games .Â
2023-24: Hay earned All-MIAC. She played and started in 26 games, earning a total of 761 minutes on the court. Hay earned her first MIAC Offensive Player of the Week of her career for the week of February 5th, 2024. In the same week she was recognized as the St. Cloud Orthopedics/CSB Athlete of the week. She had 22 assists, 35 blocks (first on the team, 3rd in the MIAC), 24 steals (third on the team), and 129 rebounds (third on the team, 19th in the MIAC). Hay made 29 3-pointers (fourth on the team), 58 free throws (first on the team) and 297 points (second on the team, 14th in the MIAC). She had a single game career high of 26 points and three steals against St. Scholastica on February 3rd, 2024.Â
2022-23: Played in 27 games; starting in 26 games... played 594 minutes... fourth on the team for total rebounds with 99 for the season (3.7 rpg); including a season-high 8 rebounds against Concordia... second on the team in blocked shots with 12... recorded 20 assists... recorded 11 steals... finished the season with 161 points (6.0); including a season-high 12 points against St. Olaf on January 18, 2023... 6 double-digit scoring games.
2021-22: Saw playing time in 22 games in her first season with the Bennies as a sophomore...scored a season-high 14 points against Macalester...recorded 11 rebounds against UW-Superior...led the team in blocked shots with 23 total...played 569 minutes total.

Previous School: Lydia played at Division II MSU-Moorhead during the 2020-21 season. She played in seven games and averaged 2.1 points per game.
High School: Lydia graduated from Wayzata High school in 2020 where she participated in basketball for four years. She earned all-conference honorable mention twice and all-state academic honors in 2020. She was listed as a Super 100 Senior by The Breakdown Sports Media. Her proudest moment was playing against her older sister in a college basketball game. They both got the opportunity to play at the next level and playing against each other is something she will never forget.
Personal: Â Lydia is the daughter of Christine and Barry Hay, and has three siblings. In her free time Lydia likes to bake, cook, water ski, and wakeboard. She is pursuing a global business leadership major.
