High School: A 2014 graduate of East High School, Taylor was coached by Dwight Berry. She played basketball for four years, and was named an all-team player for three years. She also ran track and field for two years. Taylor was a member of the honor roll for four years, was named an Academically Talented Junior and was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars for one year. Taylor also played for the Lady Survivors AAU team.

Personal: Taylor is the daughter of Shunta and Keino Taylor. She has two brothers, Keino and Kevon, and one sister, Keyasha. Taylor is majoring in bio-chemistry with a pre-med minor.
