2020-21: Saw playing time in all nine of the team's games as a junior in a season shortened due to the COVID19 pandemic ... named the team's Most Improved at the end of the season ... finished third on the team in scoring with an average of 10.2 points per game ... scored a career-high 18 points on Feb. 21 at Gustavus, and also pulled down six rebounds ... finished the season with 10 assists and nine steals.

2019-20: Played in three varsity games ... scored four points and pulled down three rebounds, all against Macalester.

2018-19: Appeared in 13 games ... averaged 5.3 minutes per game ... grabbed 11 rebounds ... finished the season with 11 points. 

High School: Seyer is a 2018 graduate of Regis High School. She took part in basketball and tennis for four years, and also played AAU basketball. For tennis, she was an individual state qualifier (2015-17), a four-year letter winner, sectional champion (2016, 2017), made it to the round of 16 individual doubles state (2015-17), and a team captain (2016, 2017). For basketball, Kate was a three-year letter winner, first team all-conference (2017, 2018), All-Northwest (2017, 2018), team captain (2018), and team MVP (2018). The proudest moment of her career has been beating Osseo three times her junior and senior year.

Personal: Kate is the daughter of John and Mary Seyer. Her hobbies are basketball, tennis, camping, hiking, and horseback riding. She plans to major in biology at CSB/SJU. She is excited to be a collegiate student-athlete because she enjoys the tough competition and being part of a dedicated team.
