2019-20: Did not see varsity playing time as a first year.

High School: McKenzie is a 2019 graduate of Holy Family High School in Brighton, Colo. At Holy Family, she played softball, basketball and track for four years and lacrosse for one year. In basketball she was all-conference (2017-18, 2018-19), all-region (2017-18, 2018-19), all-state (2019) and academic all-state (2016-19). She was named Holy Family Female Athlete of the Year (2019). She was involved in the U.S.J.N. Mountain Madness Basketball Tournament (2016, 2018). The proudest moment of her career was scoring all five points for Holy Family in overtime and securing a steal at the buzzer to beat their league rival.

Personal: Kaitlyn is the daughter of James and Sonja McKenzie. She is majoring in physics with minors in math and pre-engineering. Her hobbies are softball, basketball, track, lacrosse, hiking, and cross-making. She is looking forward to continue her basketball career at the next level while pursuing the rigorous field of physics and pre-engineering.
