Biography

2011-2012: Dorschner Overcame an ankle injury during the year to play 22 games, including 21 starts. She averaged 22.3 minutes per game. Dorschner averaged 4.4 points per game off of .333 percent shooting (26-78) and grabbed 2.1 rebounds per game.  She added 37 assists and 25 steals on the season.  Dorschner scored a career-high 20 points at Augsburg on Jan. 18.

2010-2011: Missed the first third of the season studying abroad in Australia ... appeared in 19 games, averaging 7.8 points per game ... scored 32 points for an average of 1.7 points per game ... was perfect from the free throw line over the entire season (11-for-11) ... dished out 16 assists and grabbed 18 rebounds.

2009-2010: Appeared in all 27 games for CSB, averaging 14 minutes per game ... totalled 56 points for an average of 2.1 points per game ... dished out 45 assists for an average of 1.7 assists per game (third for CSB) ... totalled four or more assists in four games ... committed only 34 turnovers ... had zero turnovers in five games ... grabbed 41 rebounds ... scored a season-high seven points against St. Olaf on Feb. 3.

2008-2009: played in 11 games for the Blazers ... recorded eight points, seven assists and six rebounds.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Kasson-Mantorville High School, Dorschner was coached by Ryan Haraldson… participated in basketball (4 years), soccer (5 years), track (2 years) and softball (1 year) during her athletic career at Kasson-Mantorville… Hiawatha Valley League All-Conference three years… holds school record for steals and assists… named team MVP in 07-08… 06-07 and 07-08 captain in basketball and soccer… Hiawatha Valley League All-Conference four years in soccer… All-State honorable mention soccer team 07-08… school record in goals scored in soccer.

Personal: Daughter of Lois and Al Dorschner of Mantorville, Minn. … had two siblings that attended CSB/SJU… enjoys being outdoors, fishing, swimming, cooking, eating and spending time with family… majoring in dietetics with a minor in psychology.

Why did you decide to attend CSB?
“I decided to choose St. Bens because it felt like a second home when I visited campus; the people and the surroundings were nothing but welcoming. “
