2022-23: Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team... earned Academic All-MIAC... competed in 25 matches... recorded 109 kills and 4 assists... recorded 69 digs... finished the season with 12 total blocks. 

2021-22: Competed in 66 sets as a sophomore ... second on the team in kills with 144 ... career-high 18 kills against Hamline on Nov. 3 ... finished the season with 54 digs and 6 total blocks.

2020-21: Saw time in 10 sets as a first year in a season that was shortened and played in Spring 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic ... finished the season with 20 kills and two total blocks ... also had seven digs.

High School: Thompson is a 2020 graduate of East Lake High School where she played volleyball for four years. She was named the team’s Most Valuable Offensive Player in 2019, and won the Coach’s Award in 2017 and 2018. She also played club volleyball, and competed in the 2018 and 2019 USAV Girls’ Junior National Championships. In 2019, she competed in the AAU and USAV Girls’ Junior National Beach Volleyball Championships in California. Her proudest moment was going to the junior national championships in both 2018 and 2019.
 
Personal: Thompson is the daughter of Lori and David Thompson and she has two brothers. Several of her family members, including a brother, have attended CSB/SJU. She enjoys cooking and playing beach volleyball, and she plans to major in biology with a minor in nutrition. She is looking forward to playing college volleyball because she’s able to continue the sport she loves while pushing herself physically and mentally.
