High School: A 2015 graduate of Melrose High School, Goerdt played both volleyball and basketball for five years. She was a three-time all-conference and all-section selection in volleyball, and was named the conference MVP as a senior. She was named to the St. Cloud Times All-Area Team in 2013 and 2014, and earned Class 2AA All-State First Team honors as a senior. She was named the All-Central MN Volleyball Team Player of the Year as a senior and earned first-team honors in 2013 and second-team accolades in 2012. Goerdt, who finished her career with 1,565 assists and 937 kills, was named to the Class 2AA Showcase All-Tournament and All-Breakdown teams as a senior. In basketball she earned all-conference honors for four years and all-section for three. She is the all-time leading scorer and rebounder at Melrose with 1,421 points and 937 rebounds, and earned all-area first team honors in 2014 and 2015, second team honors in 2013 and third team in 2012.

Personal: Goerdt is the daughter of Lisa and Steve Goerdt and she has two brothers, Cooper and Dylan. She enjoys watching sports and being with family, and is undecided on a major. She played high school volleyball with Briana Schmiesing.
