High School: A 2007 graduate of Rochester Lourdes High School, Torchia was coached by Mike Kesler...participated in cross country for six years, track and field for four years and nordic skiing for four years during her athletic career at Lourdes...Four year letter winner in track and field and cross country, three year letter winner in nordic skiing...track and field and cross country all conference and was a cross country state participant… team captain in track, cross country and nordic skiing… cross country team placed 3rd at state in 2006.

Personal: Daughter of Tish and Mike Torchia of Rochester, Minn… enjoys being outside, camping, canoeing/kayaking, triathlons, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends… majoring in Nursing with a minor in Psychology.

"Points of Pride" What Have You Accomplished in the Sport of Track & Field?
“I accomplished all my season goals last year: broke 5 minutes in the 1500, qualified for both indoor and outdoor Conference, placed 9th in the indoor mile, qualified for the finals in the 1500 outdoor Conference meet and placed 9th and took 33 seconds off of my mile time from high school.”
