2012: Appeared in five games for Saint Benedict … career high seven saves on Sept. 29 against St. Olaf … finished with a 2.13 GAA … ended the season with a .737 save percentage … had five goals against.

2011: Appeared in seven games for the Blazers … finished with a 1.286 goals against average.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Mounds View High School, O’Brien was coached by Sharon Swallen.  She participated in soccer (four years), lacrosse (four years) and basketball (one year) during her athletic career at Mounds View.  She was All-Conference in lacrosse and All-Conference Honorable Mention in soccer and lacrosse.  She was also a member of the All-State tournament team and a captain in lacrosse.  O’Brien was also a state participant in soccer.

Personal: O’Brien is the daughter of Mary and Mark O’Brien of Shoreview, Minn.  She enjoys being outside, reading, and being with family and friends. She is majoring in nursing.
