2008-2009: Appeared in all 30 games, averaging 15.4 minutes per game ... scored 192 points for an average of 6.4 points per game ... scored in double figures five times ... made 68 of 140 field-goal attempts for a .486 field-goal percentage (No. 3 for CSB) ... shot .500 or better in 19 games ... was 56 for 71 from the free-throw line, a .789 free-throw percentage (fourth for CSB) ... shot 1.000 from the free-throw line on 13 occasions ... pulled down 131 rebounds, averaging 4.4 rebounds per game ... grabbed five or more rebounds in ten games ... totalled 24 blocks (second for CSB) ... had two or more blocks in five games ... totalled seven assists and 15 steals ... scored a season-high 14 points on two occasions - against Gustavus on Jan. 19 and against Macalester on Feb. 2 ... on Jan. 7 against Augsburg, Gillund pulled down a season-high ten rebounds and scored eight points.
2007-2008: Appeared in 25 games and averaged 9.6 minutes per game … made 34 of 64 field goal attempts, a .531 field goal percentage (second for CSB) … shot a .500 or better field goal percentage in 14 games … shot at least .750 from the field on five occasions … blocked 18 shots and averaged 0.7 blocks per game (second for CSB) … finished five games with multiple blocked shots … made 30 of 37 free-throw attempts, a .811 free-throw percentage (free-throw percentage: third for CSB, free throws made: fourth for CSB) … six times, shot 1.000 from the free-throw line … made three or more free throws in six games … scored 98 points and averaged 3.9 points per game … scored seven or more points in seven games … grabbed 56 rebounds, averaging 2.2 rebounds per game … seven times, pulled down at least four rebounds … recorded 12 assists and three steals … on Jan. 12 at Augsburg, Gillund scored nine points on 3-for-5 shooting, grabbed four rebounds, and blocked two shots.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Blaine High School, Gillund was coached by Steve Reiter … participated in basketball (four years), softball (four years) and tennis (four years) during her athletic career at Blaine … was an All-Northwest Suburban Conference selection in basketball and tennis … named MVP of her basketball team … captained her basketball and softball team … was an Academic All-State selection in basketball … led team in rebounds, blocked shots, and shooting percentage … Northwest Suburban Conference tennis champions in doubles competition … Member of the Blaine girls basketball team that was Northwest Suburban Conference champions in 2004 and State Tournament participants in 2005...
