2022-23: Played in 15 games for a total of 263 minutes... finished with 2 shots, including 1 on goal.

2021-22: Saw playing time in all 18 games, including three starts, as a first year ... finished with nine shots, including four on goal ... played 516 minutes. 

High School: Melissa is the 2021 graduate of Waconia High School. She was active in soccer for five years, basketball for four years, and track and field for three years. For soccer, she won the Academic Excellence Award all four years and one All-Conference her senior year. In basketball, she also won the Academic Excellence Award for all four years as well as the All-State Academic team. Melissa participated in the AAU basketball on the Minnesota Fury and for soccer she was apart of the CC United club and the Selection Midwest Elite Camp. Her proudest moment in her career was going to state back to back. 

Personal: Melissa is the daughter of Lynn and Mark Honnold. Her siblings are named: Madilynn, Elizabeth, Christian, and Stephanie. In her free time, Melissa enjoys playing soccer, being outside, and hanging out with family and friends. She is most excited about being a collegiate-student athlete because she enjoys being extremely busy and having a constant routine yet being able to go with the flow of things. She is majoring in Pre-Med - Nutrition/Exercise Science.
