2021-22: Played in 13 games as a senior ... finished with one shot and played 192 minutes. 

2020-21: Saw playing time in five games as a junior in a season that was shortened and played in Spring 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic ... stared in two games and played 227 minutes.

2019: Played in 15 games her first year with the team ... finished the year with three shots, including one on goal.

High School: Firminger is a 2018 graduate of Mahtomedi High School where she played soccer for five years. She was a captain in 2017 and also earned two all-conference honorable mention honors (2015, 2016). The proudest moment of her career so far was winning the state tournament her senior year.

Personal: Makayla is the daughter of John and Kathy Firminger. She has one brother, Tommy, and she had an uncle play football for SJU. Her hobbies include traveling, baking, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be a collegiate student-athlete because likes playing at a high level against good competition, with teammates that are like your sisters. She plans to major in biology and on the Pre-Physical Therapy track.
