2021: Competed in 47 sets as a sophomore ... recorded 79 kills on the season, had career-high 10 kills against Cal Lutheran on Sept. 11 ... recorded 51 total digs, had a career-high 13 digs against Aurora on Sept. 3 ... also recorded 9 blocks on the season. 

High School: Galvin is a 2020 graduate of Mounds View High School where she participated in four seasons of volleyball and two seasons of basketball. Her awards for volleyball include team MVP as a junior and senior, all-conference in 2018 and 2019, an Academic Award in 2019 and team captain as a senior. Gavin played for the Kokoro Volleyball Club, and she played on the Crossfire Basketball Team. The proudest moment of her career was taking fourth place at nationals with her club volleyball team.
 
Personal: McKenzie is the daughter of Jim and Marine Galvin and she has one sibling, Kendall. In her free time, she enjoys spike ball, young life, and being at the cabin. While at CSB she will be on a pre-athletic training track. McKenzie is looking forward to being a part of a team that pushes her to continue to learn and grow her skills for the next level.
