Biography
2020-21: Did not compete as the official 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID19 pandemic and condensed into a short season in March 2021.
2019: Competed in seven races in 2019 ... moved into CSB's all-time top 50 in the 6K with a time of 24:03 at Pre Nationals, marking a career-best time in the 6k ... completed a career-best in the 5k at the National Catholic Invite, finishing in 20:33.18.
2016: Competed in four meets in her first season with the cross country team ... took third at Crown and 10th at the Alumnae Meet ... recorded PRs in the 4K (25:03), 5K (16:29) and 6K (20:51.6).
High School: Kennedy graduated from Langdon Area High School in 2014 where she participated in cross-country and figure skating. Rude was N.D. Class B All-Region and All-State from 2010 to 2012. She was a N.D. Class B East Region Outstanding Senior Nominee in 2013.
Personal: Kennedy is the daughter of Kim and Randy Rude. In her free time, she enjoys running, biking, and reading. Rude is a nutrition major with a minor in exercise science and sport studies.
