2019: Named the team's Bennie Spirit Award winner ... competed in seven races ... moved into the top 30 in CSB history in the 6K with a time of 23:30 at the MIAC Championships ... finished in the top 30 at the conference meet ... finished fourth at UW-River Falls Invite.

2018: Competed in seven races as a sophomore ... finished in the top 35 twice and the top 55 two more times ... ran a career-best 6K in 23:42.3 at the Eau Claire Invite ... finished 53rd at the MIAC Championships ... best finish was 22nd at the Twin Cities Twilight.

2017: Competed in eight events as a first year ... finished in the top-25 four times ... took 10th at the Crown College Invite (20:33.02) and Alumnae Meet (16:37) ... finished in the top-100 at the NCAA Central Regional as a first year.

High School: Gutzmann is a 2017 graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall High School. She played two years of soccer, ran two years of cross country and four years of track and field. She received all-conference honors in cross country (2016) and track (2015, 2016, 2017). She was also awarded four all-state honors in track. Her proudest moment in running was qualifying for state cross country in 2016.

Personal: Aletha is the daughter of Jeffrey and Eugenia Gutzmann. She has two sisters, Emma and Becca. She enjoys reading, camping, and backpacking. To her, being a collegiate athlete means continuing her passion for running while preparing for her future career. She plans to major in English and minor in secondary education while at CSB/SJU.
