2007: Made 17 starts and played in all 21 games… Recorded three goals and one assist… Named All-MIAC… scored two goals against St. Mary’s (Oct. 19, 2007) to lead St. Benedict to a 3-1 win.
2006: Played in 17 and started in 14 games for Saint Benedict as a first-year player … received an All-MIAC honorable mention … collected three goals and one assist on the year … all three of her goals were game winners … her seven points ranked fourth on the team … scored her first goal of her collegiate career in the Blazers’ 4-0 win over Bethel (Sept. 12, 2006) … her second goal of the season proved to be the game winner in CSB’s 2-0 win over St. Catherine (Sept. 27, 2006) … helped the Blazers get back on track after a three-game losing skid with a game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Illinois-Wesleyan (Oct. 7, 2006).
High School: A 2006 graduate of Armstrong High School, Tourville was coached by Kara Miller … participated in soccer (four years), lacrosse (one year) and track and field (one year) during her athletic career at Armstrong … collected 25 goals and 22 assists … named 2002 rookie of the year in soccer … captained her soccer team her senior year … named an All-Classic Lake Conference soccer team honorable mention in 2004 … awarded best offensive player honors in 2004.
Personal: Daughter of Arlene and David Tourville of Plymouth, Minn. … enjoys playing soccer, going to the pool, traveling to friends’ cabins during the summer, working, shopping and boating on Minnesota lakes … majoring in Biology.
Proudest moment of soccer career: “My favorite soccer memory was when my club team, Tsunami Rengo, beat the defending state champs, Tsunami Sota, in the State Final in May of 2006. It showed our entire team that playing with heart is the best way to play the game.”
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? “I love to play soccer while studying at the College of Saint Benedict and want to continue playing as long as I can."
