LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- NCAA Division III tournament-bound College of Saint Benedict continued its climb in the NFCA/GoRout Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll, moving up to No. 19 in the latest rankings.
Led by head coach Rachael Click, Saint Benedict first entered the national poll on April 28 at No. 25 before advancing to No. 20 last week and No. 19 this week. The Bennies received 70 points in the latest voting, up from 60 points a week ago.Â
Saint Benedict (33-9), which has been ranked in all but two seasons since 2016, enters NCAA regional play riding a 22-game winning streak after capturing both the MIAC regular-season championship and the MIAC Playoff title. The Bennies will open NCAA tournament play against Central College (Iowa) (29-12) at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (May 14) in Indianola, Iowa, as part of a four-team, double-elimination regional hosted by Simpson College (Iowa).
