COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. — In the final match of the season, the College of Saint Benedict tennis team (6-9, 4-6 MIAC) fell, 7-0, to Carleton (13-5, 9-1MIAC) in MIAC play Saturday at the Chang Tennis Complex.
With the loss, the Bennies finished 6-9 overall and 4-6 for seventh in the MIAC, just a game short of qualifying for the MIAC playoffs. On Sunday, the CSB tennis program honored seniors

Lila Collins (Brainerd, Minn.) in a pre-match ceremony.
In doubles action,
Ellie Huber (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and
Marie Labenski (Northfield, Minn.) dropped a 6-4 decision at No. 1 to Giana Marks and Ryann Witter. At No. 2,
Ella Marohl (St. Cloud, Minn.) and
Allyson Yahn (Pequot Lakes, Minn.) lost a 6-2 decision to Kiley Pickens and Gabriela Cilella. The No. 3 pairing of
Lila Collins (Brainerd, Minn.) and
Claire Erdal (Brainerd, Minn.) was edged 6-4 by Varinn Sood and Algara Dineva.
In singles play, Marks posted a 6-0, 6-0 win over Huber at No. 1, while PIckens defeated Marohl 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2. Yahn fell 6-1, 6-4 to Witter at No. 3, and Collins was defeated 6-1, 6-4 by Peggy Fu. Labenski dropped a 6-0, 6-0 match to Dineva at No. 5, and
Kaitlyn Rahne (Hutchinson, Minn.) fell 6-1, 6-3 to Kat Smiricinschi of Carleton.
