ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – Following a record-breaking performance, first-year student-athlete Juslene Chea (St. Michael, Minn.) of the College of Saint Benedict indoor track and field team has been named The House / St. Cloud Orthopedics CSB Athlete of the Week.

Chea earned her first Athlete of the Week honor after setting a school record in the 60-meter hurdles and helping the Bennies place second with 123 points at the CSB+SJU Invitational on Jan. 30 at the Donald McNeely Spectrum.

One of four individual event winners for CSB, Chea captured the 60-meter hurdles title with a time of 9.11, marking her second consecutive victory in the event. Her performance broke the previous school record of 9.12, set by Justus Floren in 2025 and Mandy Witschen in 2014. The time also ranks Chea 38th nationally in NCAA Division III.

Chea and the St. Ben's indoor track and field team return to action Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Gopher Classic in Minneapolis, Minn.
