ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – Senior guard Megan Morgan of the College of Saint Benedict basketball has been named The House / St. Cloud Orthopedics CSB Athlete of the Week after leading the Bennies to a win in its MIAC opener.

Morgan (Winona, Minn.) delivered an 18-point, eight-rebound performance in CSB's 59–53 victory over St. Olaf on Nov. 20, a win that helped the Bennies improve to 5–1 overall and 1–0 in conference play. She shot 7-of-15 from the field and knocked down three of her six attempts from beyond the three-point arc.

Through six games, Morgan is averaging 12.3 points and 5.3 rebounds for the Bennies. She has now amassed 754 career points on 42.6 percent shooting, including 85 made three-pointers at a 33.5 percent clip. At the free-throw line, she remains one of CSB's most reliable options, converting 81.3 percent of her attempts. Her career totals also include 352 rebounds—127 of them on the offensive glass—along with 159 assists, 53 steals, and 21 blocks.

Morgan and the Bennies now turn their attention west as they prepare for the Colorado College Classic on Nov. 28-29.
