Chaeli Haupert has been named The House / St. Cloud Orthopedics CSB Athlete of the Week after anchoring the College of Saint Benedict volleyball team's defense during its run to a second straight MIAC Playoff Championship.

Haupert, a West Lake, Texas, native, delivered an outstanding performances in leading CSB to three straight wins, including on the road at No. 2 Gustavus Adolphus and No. 1 St. Olaf. She finished the tournament with a team-leading 57 digs—an average of 4.38 per set—while adding four aces and seven assists. Her consistency shone throughout the playoff stretch: 16 digs against Gustavus, followed by a career-best 32 digs in the championship victory over St. Olaf, where she also posted a .971 reception percentage and two aces.
Her postseason impact earned her a place on the MIAC All-Playoff Team for the second consecutive year.
This fall, Haupert has built one of the most impressive defensive seasons in program history. She has recorded a career-high 443 digs and climbed to eighth on CSB's all-time digs list with 1,320. Her 37 service aces this year bring her career total to 134.
Haupert and the Bennies now shift their focus to the national stage. Saint Benedict opens NCAA Division III Tournament play Thursday at 11:30 a.m. against No. 17 Washington University in Oshkosh, Wis., marking the program's 25th NCAA appearance.
