BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Audrey Spolidoro of the College of Saint Benedict volleyball team has been named the MIAC Volleyball Specialist of the Week, as announced by the MIAC on Monday, Sept. 3.

Spolidoro, a senior from Cottage Grove, Minn., earned this recognition after an impressive performance at the Trinity Fall Classic in San Antonio, Texas, where she recorded two double-doubles and averaged 10.29 assists per set.

This marks Spolidoro's third career MIAC Specialist of the Week award, having previously been honored on Sept. 18, 2023, and Oct. 2, 2023. At the Trinity Fall Classic, the global business leadership major tallied a total of 175 assists (10.29 per set) over four matches. Her standout performances included 55 assists in CSB's five-set victory over SUNY Cortland on August 31, and over 40 assists in matches against Texas Lutheran (August 30) and Trinity (August 31). Additionally, she contributed 35 digs (2.06 per set), nine block assists, eight service aces, and seven kills.

A two-time All-MIAC honoree and AVCA Honorable Mention All-Region in 2023-24, Spolidoro has accumulated 19.5 points in four games this season. She has achieved 38 career double-doubles and amassed 2,640 assists, ranking eighth all-time at Saint Benedict. Her career totals also include 165 career kills, 621 attacks, 69 service aces, 82 total blocks, 787 digs, and 275.5 points.

Spolidoro and the CSB volleyball team will next compete in the UW-River Falls Tournament on Friday, Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7, in River Falls, Wisc. The Bennies are scheduled to face Simpson College at 5 p.m. on Sept. 6, and will play against Minnesota-Morris at 9 a.m. and UW-River Falls at 1 p.m. on Sept. 7.
