ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict basketball team is on the road for its final game of the regular season as the team heads to St. Peter to take on Gustavus on Wednesday, Feb. 15 with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.  
 
In accordance with Gustavus and MIAC regulations, during all Gustavus games, masks must be worn at all times at the campus' indoor facilities. Live stats and video will be available here.  
 
About the Gusties 
The Gusties are going into their final game 18-4 overall, 16-3 in MIAC play and securely in second in the conference standings. The latest game the Gusties played was against Hamline on Monday night which they won 62-47 to push their winning streak to five. Anna Sanders scored 16 points and had five rebounds in the win. Sanders leads the Gusties in scoring overall, averaging 12.2 points per game.  
 
Last Meeting 
The Bennies and the Gusties met earlier this season on Jan. 12 in Claire Lynch Hall where CSB led the Gusties at the half, but the Gusties gained momentum in the second half to take the win by a score of 71-60. Carla Meyer scored 17 points and Nancy Soro scored nine points and pulled down six rebounds in the loss.  
 
The Storyline 
The Bennies (14-9 overall, 11-9 MIAC) are ending their regular season with their game against Gustavus before they head into playoffs. The Bennies have secured a top five or six spot which gives them a host position in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday, Feb. 19.  
 
Who to Watch 
Carla Meyer scored the final basket with two seconds left to lift the Bennies to a 57-55 win over St. Kate's on Monday. Meyer scored 17 total points in the win and continues to lead the Bennies in scoring with 14.7 points per game average and now puts her in fourth in the MIAC individual leader standings.
