ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – After Friday's game was canceled, the College of Saint Benedict hockey team and St. Scholastica are playing a single MIAC game Saturday, Jan. 22. The Bennies head to Duluth for their first official MIAC matchup against the Saints starting at 5 p.m.
Per MIAC policy, fans must be masked at all times. Fans exhibiting symptoms of COVID or who are generally feeling unwell are asked to please stay home. Live stats and video will be available

About the Saints
The Saints are 6-5-1 overall, 3-2-1 in conference so far in their first MIAC season. The Saints have not played a game since Jan. 11 due to COVID protocols on both sides. In their last contest they played a nonconference game against UW-Superior which they lost 1-0. Goaltender Lori Huseby stopped 43 of 44 total shots in the loss.
Last Meeting
It has been more than 10 years since the Bennies and the Saints met on the ice, with their last and only other meeting being on Jan. 11, 2011, in Duluth. The Saints would take the first victory over CSB, winning 5-2.
The Storyline
After a canceled series against Hamline turned into a single nonconference game against St. Kate's last weekend, the Bennies are itching for some more time on the ice. A thrilling comeback overtime win over the Wildcats was just the excitement the team and the fans needed to keep them hopeful for more Bennie hockey ahead.
Who to Watch
First year Addy Hackley had herself a game against St. Kate's, scoring her first collegiate goal to tie it in the third and then scoring the overtime winner to secure the win. Goalie
Maggie Gilchrist is sixth in the MIAC with a goals-against average of 2.35. Gilchrist also boasts a .904 save percentage with 132 saves and a 3-3 record.
First year Ava Stinnett continues to lead the team with nine points on three goals and six assists.
