ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict basketball team remains undefeated and is looking to stay in the win column heading into Saturday's game against Concordia. Tip-off for the MIAC contest is scheduled for 3 p.m.
in Claire Lynch Hall.

About the Cobbers
The Cobbers have begun the 2021-22 season 1-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play. The last game the Cobbers played was a MIAC contest against Macalester on Nov. 23, where they dropped a 58-46 loss to the Scots. Emily Beseman leads the Cobbers in points averaging 16.5 per game and 6.5 rebounds per game.
Last Meeting
The last time the Bennies and the Cobbers met on the court was March 21, 2021, in Claire Lynch Hall. The Cobbers handed CSB a loss by just a nine-point margin, with a final score of 71-62.
Carla Meyer and
Madison Doran scored double-digit points for the Bennies in the loss and
Kate Seyer had four rebounds.
The Bennies went 1-2 against the Cobbers in the shortened 2021 season.
The Storyline
Saint Benedict remains undefeated, but not without a challenge from fellow MIAC competitor Saint Mary's on Wednesday, winning by just three points to keep their win streak alive. The Bennies have three more games after Saturday before the winter break, two of them at home in Claire Lynch Hall.
Who to Watch
Carla Meyer continues to lead the Bennies in scoring at 13.8 points per game and is averaging 6.8 rebounds per game.
Tori Szathmary leads the team in rebounds, averaging 9.8 per game, which keeps her locked in third in the MIAC standings.
Gabby Martin (12.0) is also averaging double digit points so far this season.
