HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The College of Saint Benedict picked up its second win in South Carolina and fifth straight this season Wednesday afternoon when it defeated Baldwin-Wallace 8-1 in Hilton Head, S.C.
"Every match we play this year, we are getting better," head coach
Michael Engdahl said. "I thought (Wednesday) was another example of that. When we get to conference play, confidence is going to be huge, and everyone should be feeling more and more confident after a win like this. (Thursday) may be the toughest match of the trip, and we will look to bring a ton of confidence from start to finish."
Saint Benedict (5-0) swept doubles play thanks in part to a BW forfeit at No. 3 doubles.
