Shae Olsen led the team with seven rebounds.
The Storyline
The College of Saint Benedict basketball team picked up two big, much-needed wins last week, and leading the way in both games was sophomore
Megan Thompson. Thompson earned both the CSB Athlete of the Week and the MIAC Athlete of the Week. Thompson – who has scored in double digits 12 times this season and led the team in scoring six times – had her biggest game of the season Saturday against the Oles. She had a career-high 27 points on 11-for-17 from the field and hit three 3-pointers, and she also had five steals to help the team to a 26-points win. Thompson started her week with a team-high 15 points Wednesday in CSB's road win at Gustavus. CSB looks to extend their three game winning streak and even up the series at 1-1 with St. Kate's.
