ST.JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict hockey team looks to pick up its first win of the season on Friday in a MIAC matchup against the St. Olaf College Oles at 7:30 p.m. in St. Cloud. The teams then travel to Northfield on Saturday to play at 7:30 p.m.
About St. Olaf
St. Olaf has an overall record of 1-3-1 overall and is 0-2 in the MIAC. After winning their season opener 1-0 at UW-Stevens Point, the Oles are on a three-game losing streak. Last season, St. Olaf finished 7-15-3 overall and 6-9-3 in conference play. Riley Anderson leads the team with two goals. Xandi Swedberg, Mary Kate Eiden, and Jane Vezina also all have one goal and one assist. Sam Klemann leads the team in goal with 95 saves and is third in the MIAC with a .950 save percentage.

The Oles defeated CSB in both the home and away games last year, winning 4-3 in overtime and 1-0. Leading CSB was

The Storyline
The College of Saint Benedict hockey team is 0-4 on the season and 0-2 in the MIAC. This weekend, the team continues MIAC play with two games against St. Olaf. After the Oles, the CSB hockey team has almost two weeks off before hosting a series against Saint Mary's on Dec. 1 and 2.
