High School: Eklund graduated from Chanhassen High School in 2015. She played hockey, softball and lacrosse. She received academic awards all four years. Throughout high school, she was coached by Tracy Cassano, Jeff Wahl, Robin Anderson and Matt Olson.
Personal: Eklund is the daughter of Julie Hendrickson and Kevin Eklund. Her brother Kenton attended CSB|SJU. She enjoys playing hockey and lifting. She plans to major in Hispanic studies and nursing. She is also on the pre-pharmacy track.
