Last Time Out:
CSB: On Monday the Blazers dropped their first game of the season by a score of 78-61 at Wisconsin-River Falls. The Blazers outshot Falcons 43-to-41 in field goal percentage but were not able to overcome their 21 team turnovers or a 43-to-23 rebounding deficit. Junior wing Brianna Barrett lead the Blazers with 16 points.
HU: After an opening day loss, the Pipers dropped their second match of the season 62-56 to Wisconsin-Stout and have not played since. The Pipers were neck-and-neck with Stout most of the way but allowed Stout to finish the game on an 8-2 run and lost the game. Sammons led all scorers with 21 while Pilgrim added 15.

Storyline:
This matchup will show Head Coach Mike Durbin how well his team can bounce back from a tough loss as well as be a good barometer for how they stack up against the rest of the MIAC this season. The Blazers will be looking for a quality win to open their season and give them some momentum to improve upon their finish last year. In order to do that they must avoid falling into a deficit early, as they did on Monday when they allowed Wisconsin-River Falls to take a 17-3 early in the first half.
