Last Time Out:
The Blazers are on a roll this month winning nine of their last 10 matches, while sweeping five of their last six. They've also had three consecutive home match wins and are hoping for the momentum to help them through the last stretch of the regular season. In their last match against St. Olaf, the Blazers won a quick three sets and improved to 4-1 in the MIAC. They started out the first set with a 10-2 lead. The Oles started a comeback but the Blazers quickly shut that down and took the first set 25-17. In the second set, there were six lead changes and the score was tied 16 times. The Blazers finally pushed out a win in a tough fought second by a score of 25-22. The third set started out very close like the second, but the Blazers rallied about halfway through to take a 17-11 lead that gave them the momentum to finish with a win in the third set by a score of 25-18. Alexa Rinde led the attack with a season high 16 kills, which tied her career best mark. The Blazers held the Oles to under a .165 hitting percentage as they finished with a .106 overall.

2011 Meetings:
Saint Benedict met Macalester just once last year and walked away with another sweep under their belt. They finished the first set with a 25-20 win keeping the score close the whole set. In the second set, the Blazers dominated and ended with a 25-12 win. The third set was a little bit closer but the Blazers still pushed past the Scots with a 25-16 win. As the Blazers have experienced a hot streak, the Scots have not been as fortunate. The Scots have lost seven out of their last eight games and are hungry for a momentum builder.
