The College of Saint Benedict basketball team (20-7 overall, 16-6 MIAC) lost to Concordia-Moorhead in the MIAC Playoff Semifinals by a score of 79-68.
The first four minutes of play began with five lead changes before the Blazers were able to inch ahead 9-8. CSB then strung together a 7-2 run to lead 16-10, but Concordia then tied the score at 18 a piece with 10 minutes to go and progressively moved ahead. Four minutes later, the Cobbers were ahead 33-22, leading by as much as 12 points at 38-26 with four minutes remaining in the half. The Blazers fought back and were able to close the gap to five points at the half with a score of 43-38.
CSB sunk the lead to two points at 45-43 in the first minute of the second half, but Concordia bounced back to lead by eight points at 55-47 with 14 minutes to go. CSB was able to bring the score within five points at 69-64 with five minutes left on the clock and then down to four points at 73-69 with 1:30 to go, but the Cobbers prevailed, defeating the Blazers 78-69.

Morgan Dale pulled down nine rebounds.
