The College of Saint Benedict Blazer volleyball team (17-10 overall, 8-2 MIAC) lost to Bethel University (21-7 overall, 8-2 MIAC) 3-0 Wednesday night in St. Paul, Minn.
Bethel took the first set in a hard earned 27-25 win over the Blazers. The Royals took a 2-0 lead in the match in a close second set. Saint Benedict fell 27-25. Bethel sealed the win with a score of 25-17 in the third set. The Blazers produced 60 digs in tonight's match and had 44 kills.

Chelsie Sobieck (Wyoming, MN, Forest Lake) earned a double-double in tonight's match with 15 kills and 12 digs. Sophomore outside hitter
Lexi Alm (Stacy, MN, Forest Lake) also earned a double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs. First-year defensive specialist

Saint Benedict finishes regular season play at 3 pm on Saturday October 29th, in St. Joseph, Minn. when they host Concordia College (22-3 overall, 9-1 MIAC).
