RESULTS
The College of Saint Benedict Swim and Dive team battled through a tough home meet yesterday afternoon against neighborhood rival St. Cloud State University. Unfortunately, the Blazers only scored 86 points to the Huskies solid 208, but spirits were high as the Blazers were able to report some impressive times.
First-year
Briana Daniels (Plymouth, MN, Wayzata) had an impressive fourth place finish in the 1000 yard freestyle, clocking in at 11:18.93, earning the Blazers two points. First-year
Emily Roberts (Eden Prairie, MN, Benilde-St. Margaret's) completed the 50 yard backstroke with a notable time of 29.22, giving her a second place finish.
With a winning time of 2:20.28, sophomore
Katie Kaiser (Dassel, MN., Dassel Cokato High School)dominated the 200 yard IM. The Blazers crushed the competition in the 200 yard IM, sweeping the competition through 11
th place. Roberts also finished a solid second in the 200 yard IM with a 2:22.66.
The Blazers will compete in the Meet of the Saints against St. Thomas, St. Olaf, St. Cloud and St. John's today in St. Paul, MN.
