Results

The College of Saint Benedict Blazers swimming and diving team lost, 157.5-178.5, to Minnesota State University-Moorhead on Friday night in Collegeville, MN.

The Blazers were unable to come away with a win Friday night, but the season still looks to be a good one. Already swimming faster and diving better the Blazers showed improvement in their 200 yard medley relay, 400 yard freestyle relay and many other races by taking seconds off of last year's times. Friday night's events also resulted in lifetime bests for sophomore Katie Kaiser (Dassel, MN., Dassel Cokato High School) in the 100 yard butterfly and first-year Kaia Magnuson (Mendota Heights, MN, Visitation) in one meter diving.

The Dragons were strong competitors in every single event, taking first in 11 of the 16 events. Claire Caron led the Dragons by winning three events.

The Blazers next meet is the Hamline Invitational on November 6th at 1 p.m. in St. Paul, MN.
