Exploding for six goals today in their 6-1 victory over Hamline University, the College of Saint Benedict (7-7-4, 5-7-4 MIAC) grabbed sole possession of fifth place heading into their final series at Saint Mary's.
Lead by a balanced attack, six different Blazers found the back of the net against Hamline goalies

Amie Ernst (North Mankato, MN, Mankato Loyola) put the Blazers on the scoreboard first when she score 00:53 into the first assisted by first-year forward
Kerri Graske (Stillwater, MN, Stillwater Area). Later in the first senior forward
Abby Milton (Maple Grove, MN, Maple Grove) scored her first goal of the season putting the Blazers up 2-0. Milton was assisted on the play by first-year forward
Katelyn Bounds (Anchorage, AK, Bartlett), one of her two assists on the day. With just under three minutes in the first Graske punched in a goal of her own, her fourth on the season while being assisted by Bounds and Ernst.

Ashley Davenport (Inver Grove Heights, MN, Simley) dumped in her fifth goal of the season, assisted by junior center
Janae Coauette (Crookston, MN, Crookston) and first-year center
Jennifer Yelle (Coon Rapids, MN, Coon Rapids). Davenport continued her torrent past two weeks with the goal brining her to five on the year, all scored in the past four games.
Sophomore forward
Holly Reinking's (Maple Grove, MN, Elk River) goal at 10:51 and Parsons first colligate goal at 17:23 in the third essentially put the game on ice as the Blazers went on to win 6-1. Sophomore goalie

Grabbing three points out this crucial weekend, the Blazers now look to finish strong when they take on Saint Mary's University next Saturday and Sunday in Winona.
