The College of Saint Benedict swimming and diving team fell to the Saint Cloud State Huskies on Friday January sixth at SCSU. The Blazers had a total of 95 points versus the 134 points the Huskies scored.

CSB had a tough meet but is ready for tomorrow's Blazer Big Day, Senior Recognition and MIAC meet versus Carleton. 

The Blazers continued to improve times at tonight's meet. Senior Kelly Matzen captured the fastest time for the team in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:05.04 and took third in the 50 freestyle. Senior Brooke Johnson had a personal best time of 2:19.09 in the 200 I.M. Although battling the flu, senior Steph Johnson captured her personal best score on the one meter diving board. First-year Carolyn Triggs placed third in the 100 freestyle.

CSB competes next on Saturday January 17th versus Carleton at Saint Johns at 11 a.m.
