College of Saint Benedict

Katie Boardman is in her first year as assistant coach for flag football at Saint Benedict.

A year ago, she was the co-head coach of the St Cloud Tech Girls Flag Football team, which won district and earned the #1 seed in the playoffs. 
 
She has served as the head girls' soccer coach for St Cloud Tech/St Cloud Crush team for the last seven years. She has led the team to the section final in each of the past three years and made its first state appearance in over 20 years. 
 
Originally of Fond du Lac, Wis., she has an ndergraduate degree from Michigan Technological University where she also played soccer. While attending,  she was a four-year letter winner and two-time offensive MVP. She heled lead the inaugural program to its first conference title and NCAA tournament bid.
