High School: Nelson is a 2022 graduate of Brainerd High School where she participated in volleyball, basketball, and track & field for 6 years. She was a captain in all three sports, and earned numerous awards including Academic All-State in each sport, 1000 point scorer, 3-time All-Conference, and 2-time MVP in basketball and All-State, All-Conference, and 3-time state participant in track & field. Myah also holds her school record in the 4x100m relay. The proudest moment of her career was winning 3rd place in the 4x100m relay at State in 2021.
Personal: Myah is the daughter of Angie and Troy Nelson, and has one sibling, Ty. She is pursuing an accounting major, and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, being on the lake, and working out. Myah is excited to meet new people and continue competing in the sport she loves.
