2021: OUTDOOR: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the hammer ... finished 11th with a career-best mark of 38.30 meters ... competed in four meets ... took second in the hammer at St. Olaf on April 23 ... recorded seven top-10 finishes ... INDOOR: recorded career-bests in the shot put and weight throw on Feb. 28 against Concordia ... her mark of 13.04 meters moved her into ninth in CSB history ... recorded 10 top-10 finishes.

2020: Earned Academic All-MIAC honors ... OUTDOOR: The 2020 outdoor season was canceled by the NCAA on March 13 due to the COVID19 pandemic ... INDOOR: qualified for the MIAC Championships in the weight throw ... took 15th with a career-best mark of 12.36 meters ... recorded seven top-10 finishes as a junior.

2019: Did not compete.

2018: OUTDOOR: qualified for the MIAC Championships in shot put, discus and hammer throw and finished in the top 20 in all three ... competed at four meets for CSB ... recorded season-best finish of eighth at Tommie Twilight in discus ... INDOOR: qualified for MIAC Championships in the shot put and finished eighth...competed at five meets ... finished fourth in shot put at CSB Alumni meet. 

High School: Monica is a 2016 graduate of Hudson High School. She played basketball for four years, volleyball for three, ran track & field for three years, and swam one year. She was the runner-up in discus in state her senior year, and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors during her sophomore year. Her proudest moment of her career was trowing two feet over her personal record in a meet at Eau Claire. 

Personal: Monica is the daughter of Liz and Chad Monson and has two brothers, Grant and Mitch. She is excited to compete for the amazing coaches at CSB. She is a biology major.
