2022: OUTDOOR: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the discus and hammer throw ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention after finsihing fifth in the discus ... also took seventh in the hammer ... recorded the fifth-best hammer mark in CSB history at the Tommie Twilight (44.38) ... also moved into fourth in program history in the discus at the CSB/SJU Invite (38.93) ... recorded six top-five finishes ... 2021: OUTDOOR: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the shot put, discus and hammer throw ... finished ninth in the hammer with a career-best mark of 41.69 meters - the 10th best mark in CSB history ... finished 17th in the discus and 20th in shot put ... recorded a career-best shot put mark (10.70m) on April 10 at SJU ... recorded 10 top-five finishes. INDOOR: Qualified for the Wartburg Elite Meet in the weight throw and finished 13th ... recorded the second-best weight throw mark in CSB history (14.94m) on March 6 at SJU ... recorded five top-five finishes, including a win in the weight throw on Feb. 20 at Bethel.

2020: OUTDOOR: The 2020 outdoor season was canceled by the NCAA on March 13 due to the COVID19 pandemic ... INDOOR: qualified for the MIAC Championships in the weight throw and took 10th ... recorded a career-best mark of 13.35 meters, the seventh-best mark in CSB history ... recorded six top-10 finishes.

2019: OUTDOOR: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the discus ... finished 14th ... recorded the fifth-best discus mark in school history at the St. Olaf Invite ... finished in the top 10 four times ... INDOOR: qualified for the MIAC Championships in the weight throw ... took 18th ... recorded four top-10 finishes, including a pair of top-seven finishes at the St. Olaf Women's Invite.

High School: Beckmann is a 2018 graduate of Bethlehem Academy. She competed in volleyball and basketball for four years and track and field for five. Beckmann earned all-conference in the shot put in 2016 and 2018, in discus in 2017 and 2018 and won the team’s Most Valuable award in 2016 and 2018. The proudest moment of her career was breaking the weight throw school record at CSB and celebrating with Robin and her teammates.
 
Personal: Margaret is the daughter of Lisa and Jim Beckmann, and she has two brothers: Michael and Joseph. Her parents and her brother Michael also attended CSB/SJU. Outside of throwing, Margaret enjoys textile art, pottery and choir. She is pursuing a biology major and philosophy minor, on the pre-dental track. Maggie enjoys being a member of CSBTF because she has a community that supports her as she balances academics, athletics, and a social life.
