High School: Lucy is a 2020 graduate of DeLaSalle High School where she competed in track and field for five years and hockey and soccer for four. She earned all-conference honorable mention four times in track and field, and took part in the Minnesota Track Elite Junior Olympics in 2018. She earned all-conference honorable mention hockey honors in 2020 and was named the team's MVP and Defensive Player of the Year. She played club soccer for North Oaks. Her proudest moment was playing soccer while finishing chemotherapy.
Personal: Lucy is the daughter of Tricia and CJ Lygen and she has one sister, Leah. Both of her parents, and well as her sister and several aunts and uncles have all attended CSB/SJU. She enjoys staying active and hanging out with friends, and is a communication major.
