Biography
2015: INDOOR ... qualified for the MIAC Indoor Championships in the weight throw ... recorded the seventh-best 20-pound weight toss in school history with a mark of 12.87 meters, also a career-high ... won the weight throw at the CSB Quad ... OUTDOOR ... recorded a career-best 40.08 meters in the hammer , which is also ninth-best in school history.
2014: Did not compete.
2013: INDOOR ... recorded a season-best 9.02 meters in the shot put and 11.10 in the weight throw ... took seventh in the shot put and eighth in the weight throw at the SJU & CSB Indoor Opener ... OUTDOOR ... recorded a career-best mark of 23.50 meters in the javelin ... finished with a season-best 8.91 meters in the sht put and 36.49 meters in the hammer.
2012: First season ... INDOOR ... competed in four meets ... recorded four top-10 finishes ... recorded season-bests of 8.78 meters in both the shot put and weight throw ... OUTDOOR ... recoreded a career-best toss of 9.35 meters in the shot put ... also recorded season-bests of 32.76 meters in the hammer and 19.93 meters in the javelin.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Monticello High School, Montray played soccer for four years and ran track for four. She was a team captain in both soccer and track as a senior.
Personal: Montray is the daughter of Laura and Steve Montray of Maple Grove, Minn., and she has one brother, Tyler. She enjoys soccer, reading and being with family and friends. Montray is majoring in biology with a pre-med track at CSB|SJU.
