2013: Junior season … OUTDOOR … Academic All-MIAC … All-MIAC Honorable Mention in the javelin with a fourth place tally at 114-feet-11.00 (35.04m) … end of the season MIAC rankings included: sixth in the javelin (114-11.00 / 35.04) … team best in the javelin with a 35.04-meter … IND OOR … season bests included: 15-10.50 / 4.84 in the long jump, 33-06.75 / 10.23 in the triple jump, 30-01.50 / 9.18 in the shot put, and 39-00.50 / 11.90 in the weight throw.

2012: Coleman broke the school record in the javelin throw (35.98 meters) at the Macalester meet. In the Tommie Twilight meet, she got two second place titles in the javelin throw, second and eighth place titles in the long jump, along with fifth and eighth in the triple jump. In the Dick Young Classic, Coleman also took first place in the javelin throw. Coleman was Athlete of the Week during the week of May 1, as well as Most Improved Field Athlete for the season.
High School: A 2010 graduate of Pelican Rapids High School, Coleman was coached by John Peter. She participated in volleyball (four years), basketball (four years), and track and field (four years). She is All-Conference in volleyball, basketball, and track.
Personal: Coleman is the daughter of Chris and Jim Coleman of Pelican Rapids, Minn. She enjoys horseback riding, wakeboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, swimming, reading, and music. Coleman is majoring in biology.Â
